Thank you for what you did that day. I recognized Trump for what he was when I worked for a real estate investment bank that helped him acquire financing once. I worked for their managing partner, and found out that the advertising we sent out would be deliberately misleading. It wouldn’t lie - it would skip the bad parts and play with scale on charts to overstate good ones, that kind of thing. When I naively asked about misleading prospective investors, I was told “That’s what due diligence is for!”
Knowing that they practically worshiped Trump was more than enough for me to believe he was unlikely to be trustworthy. His braggadocio made me even more sure that my skepticism was not misplaced.
I am not well known, but I am sharing my voice to suggest a uniting of voters, active outreach to the voters who have been sitting out, and continuing encouragement in that community (because this is a marathon, and all of us will have days when we are just tired) to get us through this and on the other side to a country with improved constitutional guardrails, protections for the vulnerable, and money out of politics.
I hope we can network together. We all need each other in this, and uniting our groups only increases our reach and multiplies our voices.

Thank you for what you did that day. I recognized Trump for what he was when I worked for a real estate investment bank that helped him acquire financing once. I worked for their managing partner, and found out that the advertising we sent out would be deliberately misleading. It wouldn’t lie - it would skip the bad parts and play with scale on charts to overstate good ones, that kind of thing. When I naively asked about misleading prospective investors, I was told “That’s what due diligence is for!”
Knowing that they practically worshiped Trump was more than enough for me to believe he was unlikely to be trustworthy. His braggadocio made me even more sure that my skepticism was not misplaced.
I am not well known, but I am sharing my voice to suggest a uniting of voters, active outreach to the voters who have been sitting out, and continuing encouragement in that community (because this is a marathon, and all of us will have days when we are just tired) to get us through this and on the other side to a country with improved constitutional guardrails, protections for the vulnerable, and money out of politics.
I hope we can network together. We all need each other in this, and uniting our groups only increases our reach and multiplies our voices.
I do, and he does. Though we are described by MAGA as traitors and treasonous, we are real patriots who believe in the best in this nation and will do our best to reclaim those ideals. We know no other way to serve than that.
We still ask more of him and others in law enforcement and past and present military. We need you to speak against the current atrocities that are happening to immigrants and protesters. I have seen so many posts showing the brutal and vicious attacks on Americans fighting for democracy. Please speak out about this.
