I saw officer Gonnell on Substack live yesterday. It was painful to see the US is giving Ashli Babbitt military honor and pardoning all the Jan 6 criminals, while claiming they support the police. They only support thugs that prop up the regime by terrorizing citizens or residents they dislike.
Shameful. But understandable since our current President never experienced being under fire. He has no conception of honor.

That said, D.of C. should pass a law that says no ICE/Border Patrol enforcement may hide their identity while actively on duty, must show their badge and ID whenever asked, and must provide a warrant or justifiable cause before taking any person into custody. ANYONE taken into custody has the right to prove in court that they are here legally. Even as a Liberal, I am completely in favor of ALL illegal immigrants being deported …and mind you, some illegal immigrants are very Caucasian. People who are here legally have paperwork to prove it and law enforcement has the ability to confirm that fact. If we want migrants workers, then we have to force the BOSSES to confirm their right to be here, or be put out of business. I have no sympathy for farmers who hire undocumented workers. I lived in a border town for seven years and there were thousands who crossed the border daily for work and went home at the end of the work day. When farms are not close to the border, permits to work, and live nearby during the season, can easily be obtained. It does not make sense to allow law breakers to work or stay. But it also does not make sense to allow masked thugs to sweep people off the street without identifying themselves. This makes it very dangerous for people of color who are citizens or are here legally. They should be uniformed, badged, have ID, and OFFICIAL vehicles. ICE/Border Patrol is not an under-cover operation.
