4th of July. Happy 250th birthday America. Here's something to think about; up in Canada, in the latest poll, 84% of Canadians of all political bent are proud to be Canadian. Down south of the border that same polling showed Americans proud of their nation is at 53%; which means half of the population think their nation is in a total psycholagical collapse.
There may b e a silver lining to this cloud. I have nutty neighbors who start with the fireworks June 30th and spend what must be a small fortune on the noisiest, most annoying stuff they can find until midnight every night until the fourth. These are the limitations set by local laws, and they are damn sure NOT ENOUGH! But as to Trump's idiocy and the cost thereof, we have to demonstrate next NKD as if our very lives depend on it, because they do!
Appreciate what this organization is doing and support their actions 100%, but also unsubscribing since I now know Sarah Matthews is on their board, is a spokesperson, and likely getting paid. I'm sorry, she gave up ANY credibility as an active member of the Trump Administration and campaign THROUGH THE 2020 ELECTION. Credit for resigning after Jan 6, but that doesn't mean she should now be monetizing the profile she created by suddenly finding a conscience. No shade to anyone else who feels differently, that's just my two cents. I can hold grace in my heart for those who voted for the man and give them the opportunity to change their minds, but not those who actively, professionally, personally profit off of their association with him in any way. Even if they are doing so by "changing their minds" about him. She has also said AFTER SHE RESIGNED that he was a good boss and she agreed with a lot of his policies. Just sayin...
