I think even parents of children without issues can relate to what it must be like to have research cut just because trump wants a ballroom and a personal police force of thugs so that he can overturn any future election with force. Even if he's dead, the people that pull his strings will still be around. Politics not with standing, all children need a chance in life to thrive.
Let’s call this what it is. Donald Trump and his degenerate clowns are trying to create a white nationalist cult with a willingness to kill anyone who isn’t a perfectly normal Ken or Barbie doll in their eyes, in this twisted cult fantasy.
Just like Hitler and his deranged followers tried and failed. The problem isn’t asking to save the funding, it’s concentrating on destroying Trump’s sick regime for all of us.
As someone who knows firsthand how challenging it can be to have a sweet special needs child in the family, my heart goes out to you. My nephew Michael was born with autism. His mom is a single parent with another sweet daughter. Everyday I worry about what this Administration will take away from them. Let us say what Trump really is. A heartless, uneducated bully with only himself and his ego on his mind. Just an awful person, with a hateful heart. I am so sorry to hear your story and my prayers are that you'll find another avenue to pursue to help your daughter. Trump has taken so much from ALL of us! We must not sit quietly and let him ruin our country.
Thank you for speaking out, and I hope it inspires others affected by disabilities to also speak out. There are 70 million Americans living with a disability, and when you include the families/friends of them who are also affected by a disability, there is a massive group of us. I live with MS, and I’m also a baby boomer. We baby boomers are now at the age that understand the implications of Alzheimer's and dementia. Trump is affecting us both in our wallets and in our quality life. A double whammy. While Trump’s doesn’t care, at some point many of his followers will find out the dire consequences of his actions the hard way.
