Since there will apparently be money returned from some tariffs, I firmly believe that the funds should not be left in the hands of big companies but somehow distributed to small businesses and consumers. I understand that Costco will not be retaining the funds, and that should set a good example.

We help their employees be productive by developing new programs, processes, documentation and training. The uncertainty after an election was always a challenge to manage, but this past election was different. The tariffs caused our major corporate clients to pause all external expenditures and investment in their employees' ongoing education. Contracts were not renewed. We were asked to follow-up in a month, and then a month after that ... We had to make drastic cuts in our staff and downsized from more than 20 to four employees. Worst experience in our 23 years of operation. Essentially, we stripped the company down to the size it was as a start-up. Very difficult decisions were made to survive, but the changes helped us survive and our legacy continues, thanks to the four loyal employees who continue to weather the storm.
I hate this president, his regime of enablers and sycophants, and the MAGAt Senators and House Representatives who have abdicated their responsibilities and betrayed their oaths to allow this sh*t show to continue.
The tariffs for drumpf are about extorting countries. He demands they pay him to get a better deal. He recently asked Canada to pay him before starting CUSMA negotiations. Japan was the 1st to report extortion!
