This retired physician/psychiatrist has analyzed the behavior/mentation of Our Mad King Donald the 1st and published a number of essays on "Greeley's Newsletter" on substack.com. Simply put, he suffered a devastating psychic injury when he was necessarily abandoned by his dying mother at 2yo and, from all appearances, was left alone with no attendant and in a state of pure terror. If we cannot see the petulant 2yo, in his "terrible twos", tantrums and all, then we/you haven't taken Psych 101. Stay the course and know that you/we are not alone.
