Thanks Sarah. Trump is notoriously good at promoting people who could never get their jobs without his help—it’s how he insures their loyalty. (Max Miller in particular couldn’t get a job as dog catcher without his connection to his father in law and Trump.) It also explains why these candidates are so colossally stupid.

Perhaps the most lasting statement about an election, any election, was from James Carville when he said: "It's the economy, stupid!" The absolute truth of that has lasted for three decades, and will always be true, at least in this country. If Trump wants to run on his record, then by all means let's allow him to! As Obama said during the campaign in '12: "Never interrupt an enemy when he is making a mistake!" [The Art of War?]
