Your painting is beautiful. I probably never would have seen it but for your willingness to share your story. Thank you so much!

Every day, the republicans work to make this country the image of a dystopian hell-hole in some science fiction movie. Education, art, soon enough music will all have to fit in the fascist mold, or it will be eradicated! I think this painting is inspirational and makes a great comment on the hope and prosperity this country represents to people all over the world!

Your artwork is wonderful and it is heartbreaking what T and his complicit GOP peeps are doing to our country. Art in all forms is a form of expression similar to speech. To censor all this is despicable. I wish you well and hope that you’ll continue to paint and show the world your voice through your art.

I absolutely love your painting. I see so much love and yearning in it. I feel much sadness, too. In fact even this small thumbnail version of your creation brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing and caring. God bless you and yours.

See what I mean about the "languages of the heart, the emotions"? Tyrants FEAR and despise anything that powerful, that can compete so effectively against their malicious, mendacious, manipulative narratives.

The author's work is, in artistic power and meaning, so beautiful and so clearly powerful that even a scheming halfwit, tawdry ignoramus like Trump recognizes the threat to his "Grand Plans." What many MAGAts cannot see is that if he and his thugs win, most of what Americans truly value will be lost. What Trump cannot see is the high likelihood that HE and his thugs HAVE ALREADY lost.

AGAIN.

Thank you, dear Feggo, for your art and your illuminating gifts of ARTiculation, past, present and future, and all of your fellow thinkers, workers, writers, artists, dancers, dramatists, poets, scholars, scientists, and all dogged, bona fide seekers of knowledge and champions of the Greater Good. BRAVO!!!

Just another reason why we need to remove the insanity that has infected the Trump administration.

What a beautiful, powerful painting! No wonder he doesn't like it: it's got beauty, truth, and meaning, three things he wants no part of.

Your painting is beautiful and reflects America, why people want to come here, and why allies support us. Hopefully, the next administration will restore it to where it belongs along with other parts of history Trump has physically (but not in reality) eliminated.

Heartbreaking! What a powerful painting about the possibilities of the American dream, which are now lost both literally and symbolically. I grieve for us all, but will not stop fighting to mitigate this disastrous regime.

Democrats should make a list with all illegal things Trump has done (and is doing every day). It would be useful to show the American people who he really is.

Felipe, i am truly sorry that Trump attacked your work. It is absolutely beautiful and we white Americans need to be reminded not to whitewash our history. I spend my life’s energy trying to teach and understand the beautiful and the ugly of our history. I will fight until my last breath to help make the United States a more inclusive, multicultural country where all people’s voices are wanted and needed for a truly just society. Thank you for this essay.
