Thank you sir, for speaking out with courage and truth. We truly need more like you in the police force. May God be with you in your service.

Wow, you really hit it from so many angles. Well done! Could quote many part but this one opened my heart as I viewed your heart❣️. You wrote : “And if I’m on duty and come across a group of masked, armed individuals with no visibly identifying markers of law enforcement attempting to force someone into an unmarked car, I will treat it as an armed kidnapping until the abductors are able to prove they have the legal authority to arrest someone.”

Your a moron it’s clear to see what has been going on in this city trying to deny the crime rate is protecting criminals what does that make you ? So many citizens already spoke out against the maire and the crime happening we see it on television let not believe our eyes right!?! You doing a great disservice to your community and looking foolish doing it

And the Blackshirts were a necessary intervention to clear up the menace of the Jews. The statistics are clear- crime was already lower in DC than in 2020. There was no need for any of these pointless interventions except to create a sense of fear.

You didn’t take in the change of laws making felony charges a lesser offense and the fact that certain police chiefs are facing charges of manipulating numbers to make it look better why don’t you go ask actual residents their opinions and for all the white older people they don’t live in the Chicago area that have the problem it’s easy to say their no problem when you’re nowhere close to where de problem are the facts will come out it amazes me that many are protecting the crooks and illegal immigrant without reflection on the consequences look at real numbers not doctored statistics by maire and police trying to hide the obvious how many people died last weekend!? One is to many wake up if you really care about life’s! Many seem to care more about politics than citizens security it will all come out and the people trying to make false narrative will look corrupt

I grew up in Northern Ireland during the troubles - we had a genuine reason to have troops on the streets; terrorism. DC doesn’t. But if you keep talking it up, insisting that there’s a need for stronger interventions, more paramilitary forces, you’ll create a sense of fear that simply isn’t borne out by the facts. That’s exactly how 1930’s Germany got the Blackshirts. Create a sense of fear about Jews (or nowadays, illegal immigrants). After all, that fear justifies masked men snatching people off the street like some Central American death squad.

But why let facts or statistics guide you? Your opinion is obviously far more valid than facts.

The total cost of the National Guard deployment in Washington, DC to date is estimated to be approximately $134 million. This figure covers expenses such as personnel pay, lodging, transportation, food, fuel, and other logistical requirements. The deployment involves over 2,200 Guard members and has been costing roughly $1.06 million per day. If the dumpster had given that money to the DC Police Department it could have hired a lot more recruits and would fix the problem permanently. Thank you for your honesty, in today’s world that’s quite a feat..

Michael Fanone and Harry Dunn are also on Substack. Dunn was a Capitol police officer who was fighting to protect the very people who are abandoning law enforcement now. Fanone was a Metro D.C. offer who self-deployed on Jan. 6 and was nearly killed that day. He suffered a heart attack AND a tbi (traumatic brain injury) after being tased repeatedly and almost murdered with is own gun. Check out their writing here if you haven't already. Fanone has his own page besides being affiliated with this one.

Edited to add: Harry Dunn was also badly beaten, plus he was subject repeatedly to racial slurs that he said he had never before heard while wearing his uniform as a Capitol officer.

When did "back the blue" become "beat them black and blue?' During the plans leading to Jan. 6, apparently.

Thank you for lifting your voice to call out the utterly evil insanity Trump unleashed upon this nation on January 6, 2020 and continues to hurl at us day after day. Bless you, Sir, for defending our democracy at your own peril. I am so sorry you personally experienced the hideous attack on our institutions of government and the tradition of counting presidential ballots. I watched my TV in horror as the attack continued and escalated. That day will go down in history as the day a 250 year old democracy and the people who defend it were violently attacked by terrorists calling themselves “patriots.” Unfortunately they have not yet given up their desire to destroy all that we value and hold dear. Thank you.
