Trump not only violates the law and scoffs at the constitution; once he's been ruled against, he's as likely to ignore the ruling as not! His handlers' tactic is to appeal the ruling and go right on with the illegal, unconstitutional behavior. Usually, he and the awful people who make up his cabinet can get away with this, at least temporarily.

Exactly Thomas, this is his MO! I remember watching a video many months ago of a meeting held at the Heritage Foundation.

The participants were discussing how the manifesto would be implemented by Trump.

The main idea was he will simply forget ahead with their plans, and anyone who disagrees can bring a lawsuit, because our system moves at a snails pace, and by the time it gets into court, the damage will be done.

We also have a corrupt Supreme Court! I wish that all the advocacy groups, social media platforms, and corporations that oppose the administration, as well as the Democrats and any Republicans willing to fight back, would unite to develop a comprehensive strategy before it is too late. We have to be coordinated or we risk losing it all!

It all looks like a pre-planned, slow-moving, now accelerating train wreck to me. The feeling nags at the back of my mind all the time, "There's something unknown that we're missing.

Exactly where my intuition keeps returning to since none of this could be proceeding with intentionality without SCOTUS.

How do we stop him?

With your background and experience this has to enrage you to see the blatant non stop corruption. We are all reading the unconstitutional actions on a daily basis, but they don't stop. Only the Supreme Court will matter in the end and they have capitulated to his orange majesty.

He keeps attempting to make himself above the law and he's getting away with it too many times.

The Presidential Act of 1978 made presidential records public. By keeping them, even after ordered to turn them over to the Archivist, Mr. Trump appears to have kept what belongs to the American public. Are these not grounds for the possibility of a class action suite against him?

Yes, and some class action suits are in the works. It remains to be seen what will transpire. If or when...

Yes, how DO we stop him and them? If you could provide some actionable points, Mr Kirschner, it would go a long way to encouraging our citizens' resistance. I see a banner in the middle of your post that asks "Hurt by Trump? Tell us your story". Is this a call to class-actions? Thanks!

We have to class action sue him for ripping off the American People, damaging our supply chain permanently & mishandling of a pandemic too! Plus everything else!

While of course you are correct Mr Kürschner, I wonder if the average private in the army would have the courage to disobey a direct order from an officer or NCO? Disobeying illegal orders would have to start amongst senior officers before lower ranks would have the courage to follow. The other question is, how would the average soldier recognise an illegal order?

"Obeying orders" was not accepted as a defense used by Nazis appearing before the Hague.

Thank you for your evening updates Mr Kirschner. I wanted to reflect on something. My dad was drafted into the army as an officer after just completing law school. We went to Taiwan for one of his tours where we were stationed doing work with the government of Chang Kai Shek and we ended up in northern Virginia later on (he was JAG.)

Unfortunately for me he went tea party and maga. I’m estranged from my parents. I’m in my 60’s and wonder how much the cognitive dissonance may actually get through. The thought that our policies will enable China to aggress against Taiwan would be the ultimate irony of supporting a maga cult party for him. I’d love to know but cannot find the strength to call and ask. Since this second admin I’ve had the feeling that the abuser is back in the house. It’s been pretty rough for me

I’m glad that I can listen to you and imagine what my dad could have been. It comes down to the person and values. You cannot be maga and have good values. Thank you

“The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves,” in Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, spoken by Cassius. It emphasizes that individuals are responsible for their own fate rather than attributing it to destiny.

Even recognizing Shakespeare’s wisdom, I can't shake the feeling that we still don’t fully understand all the factors that have brought us to this point in history. If this were a novel, I would suspect that not all the villains have yet appeared on stage.

Thanks Glenn! I have been following for quite some time. I hope that he won’t be successful in terrorizing our blue states! Illinois is my state, I hope JB is ready. I heard he wants to send the national guard here too! 😡
