Thank you for stating that it's felonpotus's troop occupation in DC that is stifling business traffic. He says there is no more crime in DC, and people are inundating restaurants in DC thanks to him. He has created a climate of fear out of his retribution against liberal run cities.

Thank you for sharing. In order to help sustain business and support your employees maybe you could continue to welcome the DC officers and encourage the National Guard. Perhaps that would lead to your regulars getting to know and enjoy their company. Anything to hang on, again, until things return to normal.

This is an interesting approach, Jill. It could be incorporated with the approach used by For Liberation And Resistance Everywhere (FLARE). According to:

https://www.thenation.com/article/activism/night-patrol-washington-dc

"When FLARE vets approach National Guard members, they employ a (calm)... strategy, educating them about their rights to challenge orders they think could be illegal. Gordon said this was ... effective since “most are much younger and don’t want to be here.” .

“We feel that deploying the US military to the streets of Washington, DC, to police our own citizens is unconstitutional,” ... “We took an oath to support and defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic—that is our oath, and that oath doesn’t expire.”

It's good to know there are additional groups, such as About Face, and Veterans for Peace, doing the noble work of talking to guard members, as well.

One can get very far, with the moral and legal argument that one should disobey unlawful orders. In fact, isn't one supposed to have bad order givers arrested?

It will never again be “normal” Jill. It’s laughable you think so.

So sorry for your losses and for your employees suffering needlessly! Thank you for explaining it so well, I am in California and would have no real idea about this except for writers on sub stack keeping us informed. Hope it’s over soon! Save American freedom….🇺🇸

These are important stories. What a disaster. These small businesses and citizens should not have to suffer for one small man’s pathological need to prove himself.
