I am thankful for Americorps’s service building trails and a large outdoor staircase at the 100-year old summer camp in Oregon where I’m an alum. These young people came from all over the country and mostly from modest backgrounds — some had never traveled outside their own state, and almost all were away from home for the first time. It was a wholesome opportunity and reminded me of the CCC. We are all impoverished by losing them.
So he's throwing a tantrum with Netanyahu and the starving children in Gaza, but HE is starving children right here in the US and telling us to get over it!!! Such overwhelming hypocrisy!!

If this is truly an America First agenda than we should be doing more not less.

GOP types hate these programs because their success can't be measured in ways they understand. Plus they don't involve weapons or tax cuts either.
We’ll never know the repercussions of the Trump regimes cuts in funding. To be sure, though, they are deep.
