Joe, You all are not alone in Minnesota. We see you all out there protesting peacefully on the streets being abused by ICE for your freedom of speech and the right to protest peacefully. We see ICE murdering your citizens. We see it all in real time. All on TV. Right before our eyes and our hearts mourn for all that you have lost. This weekend after the last senseless murder by ICE agents I wrote my 4th letter to President Trump (and I use that term lightly), telling him exactly how I feel about him and his Administration. About what he calls immigration control, and I call murder. My brother says he never sees them. I keep writing in the hopes that maybe at least he'll see one. God Bless us all.
Then he definitely won’t appreciate the box of old forensics competition trophies I sent him this week. My second-place State Prose Interpretation award seemed like a natural fit for the Resolute Desk.
I live in Arizona, and it's been happening here. They wait outside Home Depots looking for immigrants who are hoping for work opportunities. We have many Latinos in the state as well as Native Americans who have been targeted unfairly. With a Democratic governor, AG, major city mayors, I'm sure more targeting will occur.
I tried to post this earlier, but apparently it didn’t take. My point is very simple, Minnesota has a half a man so-called illegals yet Texas has 2.1 man. What are we doing in Minnesota and we should be focused on Texas. I know they tried California, which has 2.1 man, but they’re tactics were wrong and the people just didn’t want them to go after some of the individuals because they were doing it indiscriminately.
Which makes me wonder why the federal government just approved the use of a decommissioned base in the Twin Cites for immigration enforcement. How is that not an escalation?
Eloquently stated. ICE & DHS agents are absolutely NOT law enforcement officers. Currently, they do NOT have the strict vetting (background checks, etc.) and intensive training that our local and state law enforcement officers have. It is painfully obvious that they know nothing about individual and crowd de-escalation techniques. Just the opposite. The incite and escalate situations. They should not be allowed to operate in cities and local communities. This administration has shown its disregard for the Constitution and the laws of our Nation. The people of Minnesota have been under siege by agencies that should keeping the general public safer, not putting them at risk.
I am in awe of the the strength and resilience the people of Minnesota have displayed. They have shown the entire Nation what compassion and true humanity is. They are looking out and standing up for their neighbors. They are helping keep them out of harms way as much as humanly possible. I say, "Bravo! My thoughts, prayers, and support are with you!"
ICE agents are well trained in the Nazi Gestapo tactics of the 1930s & 40s. Also of the FSB tactics from Putins Russia. It is angering and sickening me.

Note: the reports that I read about the baby and it's injured breathing said that the chemical agents were thrown 'under the vehicle' and not inside the home.

Trump doesn't want or care to see your letters. Your letters would be more effective if sent to your representatives and senators.

Some of them are starting to waver. Midterms are this year and the pushbacks from good citizens are increasing.
